Tip #2: Set them where you see them.  Did you ever notice that you always see mice in practically the same place in your home? That's because mice tend to follow the same path, stay close to their nests and return to known feeding areas.

When setting traps, it may seem logical to place them evenly throughout a room.  But doing so is ineffective. Instead, set up to six traps in the areas where you've seen mice.  You have a better chance of interrupting their common pathways and making a catch.
